Gastroscopy / Endoscopy

A gastroscopy, also known as an upper endoscopy, is a crucial diagnostic procedure used to examine the lining of the oesophagus, stomach, and upper part of the small intestine (duodenum). It can help detect conditions such as inflammation, ulcers, bleeding, tumours, and early signs of cancer. Early diagnosis can significantly improve treatment outcomes.

At Surgical Solutions Network, we provide timely access to private gastroscopy procedures, helping you gain clarity about your health without the stress of long wait times. We offer private upper endoscopies at our state-of-the-art surgical centre in New Westminster, British Columbia

Who We Help

We currently accept private-pay gastroscopy patients from the following provinces:

Residents in Alberta & Outside of British Columbia

If you live in Alberta or another Canadian province outside of British Columbia, you are eligible for a private gastroscopy at Surgical Solutions Network’s accredited surgical centre in New Westminster, B.C.

Many of our Alberta patients travel to B.C. to avoid long wait times for endoscopy procedures and to receive answers more quickly.

Residents of British Columbia

We are only able to accept B.C. residents for private gastroscopy if the procedure is not covered by MSP (Medical Services Plan). This includes situations where:

  • MSP does not approve the referral

If you’re uncertain whether you qualify, our intake team can help you determine your eligibility.
