If you live in Alberta or another Canadian province outside of British Columbia, you are eligible for a private colonoscopy at Surgical Solutions Network’s accredited surgical centre in New Westminster, B.C.
Many of our Alberta patients travel to B.C. to avoid long wait times for colonoscopies and get peace of mind faster.
Residents of British Columbia
We are only able to accept B.C. residents for private colonoscopy if the procedure is not covered by MSP (Medical Services Plan). This includes cases where:
- MSP does not approve the referral
- The procedure is considered non-insured or elective

2. Procedure Day:
The procedure is performed under light sedation and typically takes 30 to 60 minutes. You will be monitored closely and discharged to return home the same day.
3. Results:
Your specialist will review the results with you and, if necessary, recommend further testing or treatment.
