Liposuction
Liposuction surgery offers a safe and dependable method of removing unwanted fat and improving body contour.
Liposuction offers safe and effective removal and sculpting of excess fat to create a slimmer, shapelier figure. Liposuction surgery is not an option for weight loss, but is very effective at removing localized fat that doesn’t respond to dieting and exercise. The best candidates for liposuction are of normal weight with localized areas of excess fat, for example, in the buttocks, hips, and thighs.
Surgical Solutions Network offers private liposuction surgery in Canada for men and women from Toronto, Ontario; Calgary, Alberta; Vancouver, British Columbia; Winnipeg, Manitoba; and throughout the country who wish to remove unwanted fat.

What Does Liposuction Treat?
Liposuction is an excellent way to achieve a better-proportioned body allowing clothing to fit properly as well as improving body shape and confidence. Common treatment areas include hips, abdomen, flanks, “double chin” and neck.
What to Expect During the Liposuction Procedure
Your plastic surgeon will make tiny incisions near the area where the excess fat will be removed. Then a thin tube called a cannula will be inserted through the incision, into the deep fat layer. The cannula is moved back and forth breaking up the fat and suctioning it out of the body.
The procedure commonly takes only one to two hours to complete. However, the length of time required may vary depending on the target area and the amount of excess fat being removed.
Liposuction Results
Our doctors will focus on delivering a noticeable natural-looking improvement in body shape. You will see results within ten days with final results usually appearing within three to six months. It is important to remember that liposuction benefits are not exclusively aesthetic; liposuction can be the first step toward a healthier, more active lifestyle. Our goal is to help you achieve a body that is slimmer and shapelier, resulting in increased confidence and self-esteem.
Recovery After Liposuction
The recovery period varies depending on the details of your specific procedure and most patients experience manageable discomfort, bruising and swelling for several days. You will be able to return home the same day and should be able to return to light activities and work within a week.
Skin in the treated areas may also appear loose at first, as it takes time for the body to adjust to its new, slender shape. A compression garment is worn underneath regular clothing and strenuous exercise must be avoided for about three weeks in order to help your skin to conform to your new body contours.
