Dr. Zuhair Ladha

Dr. Zuhair Ladha is an award winning Canadian born and raised, US trained Foot and Ankle Surgeon / Podiatrist. He pursued two bachelor of science undergraduate degrees in Physiology and Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan. He then received his doctorate from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Ladha then went on to a three year surgical residency with the Brooklyn Hospital Center – Mount Sinai Health System in New York City where he was Chief Resident and was in the top 10% of surgical cases completed of all residents in North America. He has completed the AO (Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Osteosynthesefragen) foundation comprehensive training and has extensive training in trauma and elective surgical procedures of the foot and ankle. Dr. Ladha has also completed a Dermatology and Pathology fellowship with Bako Pathology in Atlanta, GA. During his training Dr. Ladha completed research in the use of amniotic tissue and stem cells in foot and ankle surgery.  As a result he is consulted by his colleagues from all over North America for various foot and ankle pathology.  He is a member of the British Columbia and Canadian Podiatric Medical Associations.  Dr. Ladha proudly serves the province as a member of several committees on the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia and is constantly working with the province to improve healthcare delivery to the citizens of British Columbia.  He is the only reconstructive Podiatric Surgeon in British Columbia to be appointed as a clinical instructor for the University of British Columbia medicine program.  You will often find him training medical students and residents not only from UBC but all over the world.

Dr. Ladha is the medical director not only for Vancouver Foot and Ankle Clinic but also for Curix Medical.

In his spare time, Dr. Ladha enjoys spending time with his family. He loves hockey, is a self professed “car guy” and you can always find him trying new restaurants around Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
