Dr. Warren C.W. Latham is a certified orthopaedic surgeon with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC). He began his education at Queen’s University, where he completed his Honours Bachelor of Science (HBSc) degree in Life Sciences. He then returned to his home province of British Columbia to complete his Medical Doctorate (MD) at the University of British Columbia.

Dr. Latham completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Toronto, where he completed both a hip and knee, and a foot and ankle fellowship. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC) in 2006.

Dr. Latham completed the Surgical Science and Practice program at Oxford University, which is designed to prepare senior surgeons to become experts in quality improvement.

Dr. Latham has been a staff surgeon at the Scarborough Health Network (SHN) since 2007, where he is currently the Corporate Chief of Orthopaedics and lead surgeon of the Foot and Ankle program. He is a passionate educator. Through his role as a Clinical Adjunct Professor Foot and Ankle Fellowship Supervisor at the University of Toronto, Dr. Latham has trained numerous residents and fellows. He lectures at a national level and is a wound fellowship supervisor at the University of Toronto. His primary research interest lies in advancing surgical techniques in minimally invasive foot surgery.

He is the president of the Canadian Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (COFAS), and is a member of the Canadian Orhopaedic Association (COA). Dr. Latham is a consultant for several orthopaedic companies including Wright Medical and ConMed Linvatec. He has also authored expert medical legal opinions on foot and ankle surgeries for both plaintiffs and defendants.
