Week 2: Full Liquids & Light Activity
Transition to a full liquid diet, including protein shakes and broths. Many patients start returning to light daily activities and may resume nonstrenuous work.
Weeks 3–4: Soft Foods & Gradual Movement
Introduce soft foods into your diet while continuing to avoid strenuous exercise. Walking and gentle activity are encouraged.
Weeks 4–6: Regular Diet & Increased Activity
Most patients are able to return to a regular diet by this point. Physical activity can gradually increase, but always follow your surgeon’s guidance.
