Dr. Robert Korley
Dr. Korley started his orthopedic career after completing a Bachelor of Science degree and medical school at McGill University. He then pursued his orthopedic residency at the University of Calgary. After successful completion of residency training, he finished two fellowships, first in arthroplasty and lower extremity reconstruction at Mount Sinai Hospital/University of Toronto, and secondly, in orthopedic trauma at Sunnybrook Hospital/University of Toronto.
He then returned to Calgary and currently practices both orthopedic trauma and primary/revision arthroplasty. He has extensive experience with partial, total and revision joint replacement. In addition, he has participated in the evolution of navigated joint replacement surgery to the current robotic assisted platforms. He was one of the first surgeons in Calgary to offer direct anterior approach total hip arthroplasty well over a decade ago and continues to utilize that approach to this day.
Dr. Korley participates in charitable international medical missions with team Broken Earth and has travelled to Haiti and Guatemala in that capacity.
