Dr. Marie-Claude Leblanc
For an athlete, getting injured doesn’t mean stopping — it means fighting to come back stronger. Since 2015, Dr. Marie-Claude Leblanc has dedicated her practice to making that possible — with the rigour, precision, and conviction that every athlete deserves a real chance to reach their full potential.
She completed her medical degree and orthopaedic residency at Université Laval in 2009 and 2014 respectively, before completing a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopy at McMaster University in 2015. She holds certifications from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine.
Her domain: the full spectrum of musculoskeletal pathologies in athletes. Whether in the operating room or on the sidelines, she brings the same rigour and urgency to every intervention.
What sets her apart: she doesn’t just treat an injury — she takes care of a human being with a goal. She understands that every sport, every position, every athlete carries a reality that is uniquely their own, and that every return-to-performance plan must reflect that at every step. Working closely with coaches, physiotherapists, athletic therapists, and primary care physicians, she builds approaches entirely tailored to that reality — body, objectives, and competitive demands — including the fabrication of custom bracing to accelerate return to play without compromising safety. From high school to professional level, she is the medical partner that athletes and their organizations turn to when it truly matters.
