Dr. David Kim 

With more than 20 years of surgical experience, Dr. David Kim is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in knee and shoulder surgery, including ACL reconstruction, knee arthroscopy, shoulder replacement, and advanced arthroscopic shoulder repair. He performs surgery at Prairieview Surgical Centre in Saskatoon. 

Dr. Kim completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Saskatchewan, followed by fellowship training in athletic injuries and shoulder surgery at the University of British Columbia. He established his practice at the Saskatoon Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Centre in 2003. He is also an assistant professor at the University of Saskatchewan and a team surgeon for the University of Saskatchewan Huskies. 

A former varsity athlete at UBC and the parent of two U SPORTS student-athletes, Dr. Kim understands how injury can affect mobility, performance, and quality of life. He focuses on clear communication and individualized treatment to help patients return to the activities that matter most to them.
