Dr. Daniel Mendelsohn

Neurosurgeon

Dr. Mendelsohn received his medical degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2011 and completed his residency in Neurosurgery at the University of British Columbia in 2017. Dr. Mendelsohn is a Clinical Instructor in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia.

He is a full-time neurosurgeon at Lions Gate Hospital with a practice focusing on degenerative spine disease, in addition to brain tumor surgeries and hydrocephalus.

Dr. Mendelsohn has published over 25 peer-reviewed publications in the fields of basic neuroscience, patient safety and errors, neuroethics, and physician wellness.
